How to make your day a little easier

How would you start taking control of your own life? 

Well, here is a few tips on how you can. Change your mind set and it could change your life.
1. Stay positive 

This is so hard. Shit will go down in your life you cannot deal with. You freak out because you cannot pay the Bill's, or you stuck in traffic and you going to miss the meeting, or life is just not going your way. I must say this is the tough one, but staying calm and positive might just change the outcome of the situation. If you calm and positive, you see the bigger picture. What does it help you send your blood pressure up if you cannot control the situation. Life will give you ups and downs. This is a fact. But the way you think how your reaction towards situations are, might just change your life. 


2. Gratitude
This is one of my favorite. Life might be tough right now, but sit back and see what God has done for you in the last year. You maybe got the car you always wanted. You have a roof over your head. You have air in your lungs. You have food to eat. You have water to drink. You have clean health. Whatever it is, you always but always have something to be grateful for. Important key is that you need to say Thank you. Thank you for what God has provided to you. The more you are thankful, the more you will receive. 

3. Make up your mind 

Decide what you want. What I mean about this is. You need to decide if you really want that new car. Do you really want to study one day? You can say you want to but you don't take any steps. Yes you dont have the money to do so, but what action are you willing to take to be one step closer to your goal. If you really, really want it, and you work towards whatever your heart desires, the  you can do it, but you need to make your mind up to exactly what you want. You got to really really want it. Pray about it. Remember, if one door closes a better one will open. 

4. Give yourself time

When going through a bad patch, we tend to run off and expect us to heal is the process. Let me ask you this; if you going on a bike trail and you fall off and break your leg (yes this might sound scary, but I promise I do have a point). So have have broken your leg. Do you get back on the bike and damage you leg further by riding along? Or do you give yourself time to rest and heal? Once you have healed you get back on the bike. This is what we need to do with our hardships in life. We need to give ourselves time to stop and heal for a second before heading forward again. If we dont do this from time to time, you may just cause much more damage than what you already have. 

5. Be Humble
Give a smile to others, this might just make their day. Do a good gesture to others. Help a old lady/man across the road. Help others financially if you can. Making others smile, would brighten up your own day. And being nice to others are free. Making yourself and others feel better wont cost you a dime.
